The pavilion of the Soviet Union covers 175,000 square feet and shows the achievements of its peoples during the 50 years of progress. Its theme is “Everything in the name of Man, for the benefit of Man.”

The pavilion of the United States on the Sainte Helene is a huge transparent geodesic “skybreak bubble” 250 feet in spherical diameter and 200 feet high. Its exhibits show the creative efforts of man based on a life in a prosperous and automated society.

The Pavilion of Burma is situated on the Ile Notre-Dame. It offers traditional Burmese architecture with elaborate floral wood carvings.

Pavilion of the Western Provinces on Ile Notre-Dame, is finished in natural material from Western Canada. Its distinctive profile symbolizes the topography of the participating provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia, from tree-decked mountain slopes to prairie and ocean.

Canada’s pavilion covers 11 acres and is dominated by a great inverted pyramid called “Katimavik” (Eskimo for “Meeting Place”).

Exciting view at Expo 67 – this view shows the Indians of Canada Pavilion, the Pavilion on the the United Nations and beyond the mighty St. Lawrence River looms the terrific Montreal skyline.

Pavilion of the province of Quebec. This unique structure will be built over water and will appear to be constructed of glass. It will be 50 feet high and will cover 25, 000 square feet.

Pavilion of the Republic of China on Ile Sainte-Helene is designed to show how the people of Taiwan, China live and work, and their part in the story of Man and His World.

Pavilion of Ethiopia on Ile Notre-Dame is uniquely beautiful in construction, shape and colour, surmounted by a giant heraldic lion.

Great Britain pavilion… an exciting group of buildings reflecting the maturity, the strength and the aspirations of the British Nation.

The Labyrinth located on Cite du Havre. This is one of the most ambitious of al lthe projects. The Labyrinth – prepared by the National Film Board of Canada – tells significantly in a unique film the essential Story of Man.

The pavilion of Italy on the Ile Notre-Dame presents ‘Man and His World’ under three headings: Poetry, Custom and Progress. The roof-top display of sculpture is notable.
